Alphington House Extension
This extension is all light and glass letting the outside inside. The rear aspect of the backward is to the west from kitchen dining family room, so a polycarbonate roofed deck controlling the afternoon summer sun was designed incorporating clerestorey windows that are places to gather the precious winter sun. Careful attention has been given to working in the existing plan terracotta roof and weatherboard walls.
