A heritage house renovation for a modern life style. Reflection House is an interpretation of the clients brief to have a Victorian period home, that is not a large renovation that destroys the character of the home but provides modern bathroom toilet and laundry amenities and facilities. The client is able to entertain in a brightly light dining room that is open plan with the kitchen and receives copious amounts the winter sunshine through the gable windows, which apply the passive solar design principles of overhanging eaves. The retention of the feature palm in the corner of the dinning room ties the small rear paving to a large living Victorian garden element.
